FTSE 100 Transformation
A FTSE 100 client contacted us for assistance with planning a £100m Business Transformation Programme. As part of our requirements analysis and free P3M3 (Project, Programme & Portfolio Maturity) assessment it transpired that the client's organisation had low levels of maturity in their project delivery processes which negatively impacted their ability to plan and deliver the transformation. We identified and worked with the client to implement a range of improvements including demand/pipeline management, project estimation, portfolio planning and financial forecasting which provided a structure for the initiation of the transformation.
PMO consultancy, planning and support
A top UK publishing house requested our services in building out their PMO capabilities and in supporting a flagship global ERP implementation. We provided a Senior Consultant to develop a PMO roadmap, implementing gating and resource management processes; a Planning Specialist to build out project planning processes including taking ownership of ERP programme planning and training users on MS Project Online; and PMO Support for the programme encompassing change control, RAID logs, financial monitoring and production of status reports for executive level consumption.
Data analysis and reporting
A global financial giant requested our services as a result of a re-org that significantly increased the size and scope of a divisional IT area. The client had disparate systems and processes in place across geographical regions for project, vendor, resource and financial data with no consolidated view and limited reporting capabilities. The client presented us with an urgent requirement for improvements in these areas.
We identified and documented the data sources, produced a report on the various processes and our recommendations for re-design, created a process for the extraction and consolidation of data, and built a suite of reports which provided our client the insights requested on time and within budget.
